Christopher Walsh

During my teenage years, I struggled heavily with weight issues and exercising. At the age of 16 I found myself weighing 290 pounds with a BMI of 47. I was at high risk of developing diabetes, had high blood pressure, and was at high risk of heart disease. I was told so many times I needed to lose weight, but no one wanted to show me how. I decided eventually that if it was going to happen, I’d have to be the one that puts in the work. So, I started to focus on what I ate and began exercising. I started losing weight fast, and I was feeling better physically, mentally, and emotionally. People started complimenting me on my efforts, and after losing over 100 pounds in less than 2 years, I decided I want to help others on their fitness journeys.

I went on to move to Chattanooga, TN obtain my Bachelor’s in Exercise & Health Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. I became a certified personal trainer through NASM, and I’m currently in UTC’s program to get my Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetics. With all of this, I believe I can help get you on track to a to living a healthier lifestyle both physically, and mentally. I understand the struggles, and I’m here to help you get over them!

HomeBody’s Goal:

HomeBody Fitness & Nutrition Coaching centers around helping others manage their weight, and provides clients with training plans, nutrition advice, and a coach that will hold them accountable when times are tough. Our coaching focuses around the goals of the client. Whether it’s losing weight, getting that 6-pack, or practicing functional movements, we can get you a training plan that will increase your health & performance to live the life you want!
